Tutorial Topic Include

On the 1st June 2019, the afternoon session will be an ultrasound hands-on practice.  There will be no traditional lectures.  We believe a comprehensive practical ultrasound training will provide a firm understanding of musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound for daily basis.  We have very experienced ultrasound instructors to demonstrate the techniques of MSK ultrasound.  The delegates will then progress to hands-on practice.  We will divide into groups based on the experience of the delegates for their own requirement so that everyone will obtain the maximum achievement.  We will provide models with normal and diseased tendons for the delegates to assess and review.

  • Ultrasound anatomy of the shoulder
  • Ultrasound anatomy of the elbow
  • Ultrasound anatomy of the wrist and hand
  • Ultrasound anatomy of the groin and hip
  • Ultrasound anatomy of the knee
  • Ultrasound anatomy of the ankle and foot
  • Ultrasound images interpretation.
  • Live Demo – Standard US-approach to the main Joints (GRUBER)
  • Live-Demo – Access paths to the nerve roots, FJ and SIJ (LOIZIDES)
